2010/2011 Hockey Season Registration Information

* Families must also register their skaters with USA Hockey on-line. The USA Hockey registration charges a $40 fee per skater for children born in 2003 or later. Children born in 2004 and younger are free, but must also complete the USA Hockey registration.  Proof of USA Hockey registration must be provided to GHA prior to any skating.
Family maximum cost of $600.

All registration fees must be paid in full prior to December 1st.  If payment is not complete by December 1st, a payment plan must be signed which schedules payments no later than March 31st, and will include a $5 per month invoice fee. 

Note: Registration with GHA includes skate-sharpening for the member during the entire season.

   
Discounts/ Offers / Incentives 50% NEW SKATER DISCOUNT:  Anyone registering for Mite Level or higher who was NOT a member in 2009/2010 will receive 50% off the annual registration fee for 2010/2011.
$50 REFER-A-FRIEND BONUS:  If a new skater is referred by an existing member for the 2010/2011 season, the existing member will receive $50 off their registration fee for the 2011/2012 season. The new skater must complete the 2010/2011 season in good standing in order for the bonus to be credited. The referral must be noted at the time of registration in order to qualify.
Equipment Loan Program:  If a skater is unable to provide their own equipment, GHA will loan them the necessary equipment from our existing inventory of equipment, or additional resources as available. This will not include sticks or skates. If anyone is concerned they cannot participate in hockey because of equipment, please be sure to let us know because GHA wants every kid who wants to skate to have the opportunity!

Requirements

Work Hours
25 Work hours (or pay $10/hour).   Mini-Mite Program is 15 Work hours (or pay $10/hour).

* Rink work, concession stand, home tourneys, bringing bars to sell, etc.

Fundraising Hours

35 total fundraising hours (or pay $10/hour).  Mini-Mite Program is 10 fundraising hours (or pay $10/hour).
* 15 Winter fundraising hours - August 1 - March 31 (Ice Bowling, Jr. Gold Tournaments, etc.)
             (5 Winter fundraising hours for Mini-Mite Program)
* 20 Watercross fundraising hours - (Pre-weekend, weekend shifts, or clean-up.)

Fundraising Sales
* Sell or purchase 30 pizzas or items (or pay $3 per item)   (All levels)
* Sell or purchase 15 Butter Braids (or pay $3 per item)    (Optional for Mini-Mites)
